Day Trading Success Tip No 2

When choosing a market to trade, there are three important considerations for an active day trader.

The first is trading with Direct Access.

Direct Access used to be the preserve of the Exchange Locals (independent traders), but the Internet has leveled the playing field. Now we can all have Direct Access.

Direct Access (DA) means that you communicate directly with the market; there is no middleman, no delay and no bottle necks. With DA your order goes directly into the market to be executed.

Trader, if you are currently trading and you are not getting instant (within one second) notification of your fills (order fulfillment), then you do not have DA.
